About us
At the Center for Interoperability, the different interoperability competences of Fraunhofer FOKUS are bundled and different industry-relevant issues are addressed. The laboratory environments of the center allow for the exploration of the semantic, technical, organizational and legal dimensions of interoperability and their incorporation in standardization processes. In cooperation with partners, solutions, strategies and concepts are worked out. The Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS has many years of experience in the field of interoperability as partner for the communication, automotive and media industry as well as for public administration and medical engineering.
Partners and customers profit from the many years of experience in the field of research interoperability and the positive network effects from many interdisciplinary, future-oriented projects. The results of this diverse research are regularly presented at events and communicated in publications.
